Katie Long got her first taste of theatre in high school, performing with her community theatre and competing on her high school's speech and debate team.  In college she worked on several shows and had parts in Angels in America, Sweet Charity and Oliver.  Katie earned her degree in math and theatre education and started her new career as a middle school and high school math teacher and drama coach.  She has directed middle school plays and musicals for the past 9 years in Louisiana, Newton MA
and Southboro MA.  Some of the productions include The Music Man, Annie, The Boyfriend, Through the Looking Glass, H.M.S Pinafore, The Emperor's New Clothes, If These Walls Could Talk, Charlotte's Web and The Secret Garden. She is currently working on her masters degree in Theatre Education from Emerson College.

Katie lives with her husband, daughter, two dogs and a cat in New Durham, NH.
